If you’ve started using CBD as part of your wellness routine, or are thinking about it, you may be wondering if you need to speak to your doctor. Some people may just want to get a professional opinion, while others may have questions about medication they are already taking. Whatever the case may be, I feel if you have questions you should ask them.
CBD is relatively new, but the market is saturated with options. If it’s something you’re interested in, you’ll probably want to do some research. It’s important to understand what CBD is and what it can do. There are many studies and research papers out there to choose from, but I recommend looking for studies that are peer reviewed and use proper citations.
After you’ve done research on what CBD is, look for a brand that is transparent and uses quality ingredients to make their CBD. I may be a little biased, but I recommend Nature’s Ultra CBD.
You won’t have to worry about talking to your doctor about using CBD. Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp-derived CBD is legal as long as it contains less than 0.3% THC. And the great thing is Nature’s Ultra CBD has 0.0% THC!
Feel free to bring in your CBD product to your doctor as well. That way they can check it out and give you any recommendations.
You can also let them know of any benefits or side effects you may be experiencing. They can advise you best on next steps.
If you have questions, ask them! I want you to be 100% comfortable when you’re using CBD. Your questions can be about the effectiveness of CBD or about potential side effects. But whatever they’re about, don’t be afraid to ask.
One question I would recommend asking is how CBD might impact any current medication you’re on. If you weren’t aware, CBD is similar to grapefruit juice in that it blocks certain enzymes which can affect the metabolism of some medications. In other words, in might make those medications less effective.
Talking to your health professional can be helpful for you to understand how CBD fits into your wellness routine. I don’t want you to have any reservations when using CBD and when choosing Nature’s Ultra either.
