I started Nature’s Ultra because I wanted to provide quality products that could help individuals along their wellness journey. I believed in the life-changing power of CBD and wanted to get it into as many households as possible. And even though there have been some barriers along the way, I can now proudly say that Nature’s Ultra CBD can be shipped to all 50 states!

That’s right: Young Living members, regardless of what state they live in, can now get their hands on any available Nature’s Ultra product! South Dakota was the last state to allow CBD in, but thanks to some recent legislation members there no longer have to wait.  

This is great not just for the members in South Dakota, but for Young Living as a whole. This change not only highlights CBD’s popularity, but the wellness benefits it can provide.  

If you weren’t already aware, we’ve been dealing with the issue of not being able to ship to South Dakota for some time. Here’s a brief overview.

Shipping to South Dakota

Thanks to the farm bill passed by congress in 2018, hemp and CBD products were made federally legal. The condition being that the hemp could not contain more than 0.3 percent THC.  

But while this made hemp and CBD legal at the federal level, each state could make their own laws regarding hemp. And while legislatures in South Dakota tried to pass a bill that would give hemp and CBD in the state legal status, it was shot down by the governor.  

Fast forward to now, and that legislation has changed which means we can now ship to South Dakota!

Every decision that I have made has been to provide customers with the best experience and products possible. Part of that means being compliant at the federal and state level to ensure that Nature’s Ultra products are here for years to come.  

I’m not going to lie; it was tough when we had to stop shipping to South Dakota. But in order to stay on the right side of the law, we had to play the long game – and it’s paid off.  And this new change is a great sign because it illustrates that it’s only a matter of time until we are able to provide more resources to more members across the globe!

The law is moving in our favor which means there’s more good news to come! As the legal landscape changes so will Nature’s Ultra messaging. I feel this is just the beginning and we will see a shift in the public’s perception of CBD paving the way for even more possibilities.
