This time of year brings us changing leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and especially cold weather (depending on where you live). The cold weather not only has an effect on the environment around us, but on our bodies as well. But there is one thing that can take the edge off – CBD.
While it’s not quite winter yet, it’s getting there and it’s best to be prepared. Part of that could mean adjusting your wellness routine accordingly. We’re approaching cold and flu season so it’s time to ramp up our personal hygiene and supplement intake – you can never be too careful.
Bad weather can also keep us trapped indoors, so if you can’t make it to the gym or work, try to find creative was to exercise and stay productive.
Another thing to consider is the amount of CBD you use. Our bodies can react differently to the cold weather which can also impact the CBD we use. I know for me my metabolism slows down a bit and my joints ache a little bit more, forcing me to use a bit more CBD than usual. That doesn’t mean I use excessive amounts, just enough to help. Each of us are different so I suggest just listening to your body and see what works best.
The cold weather has a tendency to get inside our joints and muscles and can really be a nuisance. One tool that I’ve found to be consistently helpful is the CBD Muscle Rub from Nature’s Ultra. It does wonders. So if you haven’t already, stock up.
There’s no need to change the way in which you use your CBD, but just see what your body needs. You may find you need a little more than usual, but you also may find you don’t need to make any changes. Just be prepared and adjust accordingly.
Remember CBD isn’t a cure all, but it can help. It’s been helpful in my life and I know it can be helpful in yours, regardless of what time of year it is.
