When people ask how CBD works, what they are really asking about are the benefits it has. While you can search and find lists of all the qualities CBD has to offer, some compliant and some not so compliant, the simple answer is that CBD may promote overall wellness. Let’s dive into what that means though.
Dr. Tyler Call, who works closely with Nature’s Ultra and Young Living has stated, “the exact mechanisms of how CBD works in the body are still being investigated. We know there are CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body which are likely involved and we know the human body has an endocannabinoid system. Other studies indicate that inhibition of adenosine, activity at the 5-HT1a receptor, glycine receptors and GPR55 receptors may be involved (World Health Organization 2018 CBD Critical Report Review).”
In other words, we’re still learning about how CBD can benefit us, but the cannabinoids in CBD bind with receptors in our body that are part of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). These receptors are found all over the body too.
The goal of these receptors is the same no matter what part of the body they’re located: homeostasis. I’ve talked about this before, but homeostasis is a state of balance that provides stability for our bodies. Conditions inside and outside of our bodies tend to change and our bodies react in a way to return is back to some form of equilibrium. The ECS is one of the methods our body uses to achieve this.
The World Health Organization has critically reviewed CBD and has said, “CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile.” Their review also stated “in humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential.”
Understand that each person is different so each of us can react in a variety of different ways when using CBD. I recommend listening to your body and see how it reacts. And if you’re on any medications or have concerns, talk to your doctor.
It’s important to find the strength that works best for you. Afterall, we’re all different so each person works differently. . I recommend starting with a lower strength and working your way up once you know how your body works . Just follow the recommended directions on the bottle and go from there.
Of course, I’m going to say yes but you have to make that decision for yourself. Afterall, who knows you better, right? I can tell you CBD has changed my life and countless others, but you can’t just take my word for it. Nature’s Ultra CBD is safe and is backed by Young Living’s Seed to Seal standard. You can’t do much better than that.
Once you understand the benefits and have decided CBD is right for you, make sure to be consistent and establish a wellness routine. And once you’ve seen how CBD has helped you, you’ll want to share it with others. Believe me.
